Ecopower, a national consortium for the management of scrap lead batteries, it began as a concrete response to a
pressing need: to transform used batteries from waste to resource, in a sustainable manner.
In 2009, following the introduction of Legislative Decree 188/08, the Ecoped consortium created the Ecopower division,
whose main task was to organise and finance the management cycle of lead batteries at the end of their life.
In January 2012, by the will of the Ecoped consortium and major manufacturers of starter batteries, as well
as industrial and stationary, the Ecopower division became a consortium in its own right.
ECOPOWER IS ENTIRELY DEDICATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SERVICE OF THE MANAGEMENT OF LEAD BATTERIES AT THE END OF THEIR LIFE AND GUARANTEES ABSOLUTE SAFETY IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE SERVICE, WITH TOTAL RESPECT FOR LAW.
Scrap batteries are treated with the full guarantee of the recovery of secondary and raw materials, thanks to a sophisticated management system and supply chain control.
