USED BATTERY PICK-UP SERVICE
Accumulator batteries (as defined by regulating standards as industrial accumulators or accumulators for vehicles) are widespread because they include both accumulators used for starting cars, motorcycles and boats, and those used for industrial purposes.
Industrial accumulators are mainly divided into two categories:
- those that provide energy for the traction of vehicles with electric motors, such as forklift trucks, golf cars, cleaning machines and electric vehicles in general;
- those powering UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), such as car sidelights, substations on the networks that carry energy, electronic sign panels along motorways.
Accumulators for vehicles are used for startup, lighting and ignition power for vehicles namely cars, trucks, vehicles for military use, motorcycles, campers and boats. It is important not to disperse used batteries into the environment because the acids and pollutants they contain represent a serious threat to the environment and to human health.
Proper management also facilitates the recovery of materials contained in waste that can be reclaimed and reused.
